Bring Your Layout To Life Contest
Congratulations! Two of our students from the Minneapolis school, Donny Brunner and Josh Feuerhelm were chosen as winners in Terry Anderson Photography’s “Bring Your Layouts to Life” contest. Students from local advertising/portfolio schools in the Twin Cities were asked to submit a PDF of their best work. Entries were judged by a panel of three Twin Cities’ Creative Directors. The winning students from each of the schools represented were selected to develop their concept into a full-fledged ad at Terry Anderson Photography studios last month.
When asked about the experience, Donny commented that the advice and pre-production work from photographer Jeff Schmieg turned a “good campaign into a professionally-produced ad that looks great in my book.” He went on to say, “Terry truly wants to do his part in elevating the creative and advertising community in Minneapolis. The opportunity to actually produce a campaign has been a great learning experience and something I won’t soon forget.” Feuerhelm agreed, stating, “We were able to work with an awesome crew in a fantastic studio and leave with great looking ads, just for entering a contest. You can’t beat that.”
